Foreigner Trying Out Filipino Food | Durian | Food in the Philippines | Foreigner Province Life

The Filipino cuisine is quite different from what you may find in the West. Different dishes, different vegetables and different fruits. Today I get to try durian, a creamy Filipino fruit with a rather distinct smell. In fact, bringing the fruit into airports and most hotels is not allowed!

I remember seeing the "No durian" sign in the capsule hotel in Singapore, haha. Honestly, I didn't think the smell was THAT bad, but yeah...it’s not roses and sunshine.
