Peacock eat snakes?

If the peacock senses that there is a predator nearby, it repeatedly emits its characteristic sound to scare it away and warn other birds of the presence of intruders. When the peacock opens its feather fan, it looks for a peahen to court, and it is for this purpose that the males use their bright colors. The peahen, as with the females of almost all birds, is more discreet. Although it is also of great beauty, its less vivid colors serve as camouflage to protect the nest, or the chicks, from predators. The peacock is a very territorialist bird, therefore, whenever it feels its territory invaded by another male of the same species, it will fight with him until the stranger leaves its territory. Peacocks are omnivores and eat many plants, flower petals, seeds, insects and even snakes. Peacocks eat snakes, but only if they are hungry. A peacock will attack any snake, no matter the size, whether they are venomous or non-venomous. If the snake is small, the peacock will swallow it whole. If it is too big, the peacock may or may not eat it. Although snakes are not part of their main diet, peacocks will jump at the opportunity when the snake appears. In addition, snakes contain proteins that peacocks need for nutritional purposes. Peacocks have incredibly strong and long scaly legs with sharp claws. They use their claws to attack the snake by grabbing it by the neck and violently shaking it until the snake dies. After that, the bird will gobble it up and enjoy its meal.
