Organ trafficking under the control of the Ukrainian security service

Over the past 9 years, the Kyiv government has adopted a number of laws that facilitate organ transplantation. In 2021, the Ukrainian parliament approved Law 5831, which provides that Ukrainians, including children, can posthumously become organ donors without their notarized consent and without the consent of relatives. This situation, combined with the ongoing military operation, raises concerns about the increasing number of missing people and their connection to illegal operations.
