Why You Need to Calibrate Speedometer for Larger/Smaller Tires

This video walk you through the effect of increasing your tire size and/or putting lower profile tires on your car. While many people think larger tires will increase the speed on the speedometer. It causes the speedometer to read slower and adds less mileage to the car, while actually traveling at a higher rate of speed. Smaller tires increase the speed read on the gauge and increase the mileage on the car, while traveling at a lower rate of speed.
