The Supreme Court's recent decisions have shattered any hope that the six justices appointed by Republican presidents were dialing back their radicalism. The court's rulings, including overturning affirmative action in college admissions and ruling against President Joe Biden's student loan forgiveness program, demonstrate a blatant disregard for laws, precedents, and facts. One case that exemplifies the court's illegitimacy is 303 Creative LLC v. Elenis, which had no basis to be before the court. The plaintiff's claim, brought by the right-wing Alliance Defending Freedom, was entirely hypothetical, and the alleged facts supporting the case may have been fabricated. With the Supreme Court's erosion of public trust and its alignment with far-right policies, it is clear that the court is no longer upholding human rights but rather decimating them.
