Slices of History: The Price of Freedom

This week, in honor of the pledged sacrifices we celebrated on Independence Day, we decided to take some time to look into a handful of stories of those who have come before us to give and to defend the freedom's we too often take for granted. From the Founding Fathers to the World Wars to today, there were and are good people willing to give and have given all they have to preserve life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for others. This kind of sacrifice is not something that is just there when it is needed, it is cultivated through childhood and refined into adulthood waiting for the call to challenge how the person was raised. We hope you find these stories inspiring and hopefully it'll help ignite a love for this country and a deeper appreciation for the price of freedom.
