Biden preparing to travel to UK, NATO summit in Lithuania, and Finland

U.S. President Joe Biden is preparing to head to Europe next week for a three-country trip intended to bolster the international coalition against Russian aggression as the war in Ukraine extends well into its second year. Biden will travel to the United Kingdom on Sunday to kick off the trip. While there, he will meet with King Charles at Windsor Castle, as well as British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. Biden will then head to Lithuania where he will be a key player on a host of critical issues at the NATO summit in Vilnius. The U.S. president will follow the NATO summit by traveling to Finland for another summit to meet with the leaders of Finland, Sweden, Norway, Iceland and Denmark.
