French police can now SPY suspects REMOTELY activating phone, any connected device

France passed a bill that allows police to surveil suspects through their phones, car, TVs, and computers, all done remotely and for up to 6 months.

Despite outcry from civil rights groups, the law passed with an overwhelming majority 80-24.

"We are far away from the totalitarianism of 1984", says French Minister of Justice Dupond-Moretti.
