In prison he reformed his life and became a crime story writer, detailing the criminal history of fellow inmates. One of his most popular stories "Once a Gunrunner" was turned into the feature film "War Dogs" starring Jonah Hill. Mr. Cox was also featured on his own episode of "American Greed" on CNBC.
