Old Line is a distillery in Baltimore Maryland making American Single Malt Whiskey.

Mark McLaughlin and Arch Watkins met in the Navy flying EA-6B Prowlers, an electronic warfare aircraft designed to jam enemy radar systems.
After a decade of flying off of aircraft carriers and traveling the world they both ended up in Baltimore, where coincidentally, they also were neighbors.

The daily grind wasn't enough for them and given their joint love of whiskey, they decided that they should start a distillery together.

In 2015, Mark quit his job and attended a conference in Seattle to learn how you even get started making whiskey... this is where he met Bob Stilnovich who owned a distillery called "Golden Distilling" and was looking to sell. Golden Distilling was one of the country's first dedicated American Single Malt Distilleries.

In 2016, Mark and Arch moved out to Samish Bay, Maryland, learned from Bob how to make good whiskey, and six days a week they made whiskey and filled barrels. On Fridays they would fill bottles, and they'd sell out by Saturday!

They clearly had things down, but wanted to move back to Baltimore and expand... that's when they met Ryan and Brady of Middle West Spirits who gave them a different option... Middle West Spirits started distilling Old Line American Single Malt and Mark and Arch flew traveled out to Ohio for every batch to ensure it's quality...

They spent the next year and a half working on opening a new distillery in Baltimore where they have begun distributing their whiskies in many New England States and Colorodo, and expanding! You can also purchase them online if you're interested after hearing my review.
