Ruach, the Spirit of God

In the beginning, when God created the heavens and the earth, a wind from God swept over the face of the waters. Genesis 1:1-2

In Hebrew, the word for wind or spirit is "ruach." It's more than just air or breath. It's the invisible, intangible essence of life itself.

The work of the Spirit is everywhere. It brings order in the midst of chaos, separates light from darkness, and brings life when the time is right.

A Jewish master once said, “God is not nice. God is not an uncle. God is an earthquake.”

In moments of darkness and chaos, can you sense the Spirit hovering over and guiding you?

Take a moment to reflect on the areas of your life that feel stuck and confusing.

Acknowledge them to God and expect the Spirit to move, bringing abundance and joy.

Spirit of the Living God, fall afresh on me. In Jesus' holy name, I pray. Amen.

Let the Spirit move in your life. Embrace the energy of the divine. Find peace and abundance.
