Police in France To Get Power to Spy On Phones, Cameras and Mics on Electronic Devices Remotely

The bill which has just passed the Senate and is awaiting a vote in another chamber of the French Parliament, would allow law enforcement authorities to turn on cameras, microphones and obtain geolocation data from any connected devices of suspects (people) they are monitoring. A new era of State sanctioned monitoring in access to individual devices is set to begin in France.
