The National Citizens Inquiry testimony of Marjaleena Repo, a senior who was harrassed during covid because of not wearing a mask. She had an exemption from her doctor, but most people didn't care. Even city bus drivers would pass without stopping because she wasn't wearing a mask.
She recalls the moment she was diagnosed with breast cancer. How having to wear a mask during chemo treatment was so difficult, but the insults indured in the cancer clinic were so hurtful. Seeking a quiet corner to reflect on her prognosis, she found a small cafe, but they turned her away. The next day, she woke up to the most hurtful messages, even death threats from social media, because she had posted about her experience at the coffee shop. She says humanity is lost, and the treatment towards each other during covid was appalling. She says people forgot to be kind, respectful, and treat each other with human dignity. A very sad reflection of what Canada has become.

The covid restrictions and mandates hurt many Canadians. Please listen to their stories. All original material was collected from the National Citizens Inquiry site. Please donate, share, or recommend www.nationalcitizensinquiry.ca
