'White People Food' (白人饭) | China takes aim at Western food & culture | "Western food made me puke!"

As a student of the Mandarin language, I'm always looking to learn new words and phrases. Recently I came across a new phrase, 'bai ren fan', or 白人饭, as it's written in Chinese characters. This translates as 'White People Food' and it used in a highly derogatory manner in order to describe Western food.
Recently in my daily life I've noticed an uptick in semi-hostile, very condescending questions and comments about Western Food. "你们没有什么好吃的，只吃面包和土豆" ("You all don't have any good food - just eat steak and potatoes"), or "西餐太难吃了，没啥美食" ("Western food sucks, nothing good to eat"). After learning about the new term 'White People Food' which is going viral on the Chinese internet, it all started to make sense.
In this video I explain more about the ridiculous new phrase and give some cultural insight as well as some first-hand observations.
