An Original Off Grid Cabin | Part 2 | Ep. 4 | Fire (Shou Sugi Ban), Wood (Floor) and Stone (Wall)

Started wood floors for cabin using 2x8’s. Burned them to give them a darker, antique appearance.

Stone wall behind fireplace was also started using stone from creek bed and around property. Definitely a learning experience but I think it’s going to turn out well! Laying the stone, letting the mortar set and then smoothing is a process that will continue into next video.
