LEADERS KNOW THE HARDEST WORK IS THE MIND WORK AND LEADING THE NARRATIVE IS MIND WORK

“Manual labor is the back bone of nation building, cultural strength and societal character. Without manual labor there are no roads, bridges or homes. Without manual labor no farms, food or future. Without manual labor life as we know it comes to a screeching halt. Manual labor without thinking, planning and analysis is often wasted labor, wasted resources and wasted time. Manual labor, skilled labor requires ample amounts training and agility. Mental labor requires discipline of the mind and thought life as well as focused attention on matters of importance. Leaders must apply themselves to the hard work of mental labor. I am convinced, thought life is where the wars for the survival of the species will be won or lost.” J Loren Norris
