Weekend fire rages through mid-valley strip mall

At approximately 10:34 p.m. on Saturday, November 12, a fire broke out at 3140 S. Valley View Boulevard, situated north of Desert Inn Road. Las Vegas Fire & Rescue confirmed that smoke and flames were visible emanating from a laundromat located in the central part of the building.
Upon the arrival of fire crews at the scene, a second alarm was immediately raised to ensure adequate resources were deployed to combat the fire.
Fortunately, there were no reported injuries resulting from the incident. As of now, the estimated cost of the property damage has not been disclosed.
