This was the fist time the infamous Zapruder film--showing JFK's assassination and an obvious 'back and to the left' head movement--was shown to the public.

The pubic outrage that followed contributed to the creation of the Hart-Scchweiker investigation, which contributed to the Church Committee investigation on Intelligence Activities by the United States, and resulted in the House Select Committee on Assassinations.
