The last thing the world needs is another data-harvesting platform that will collect your "Health & Fitness" info, your ‘Financial Info”, your "Sensitive Info," and "Other Data”, but that’s exactly what Meta’s new “thread” app is doing.

Meta claims that over 10 million people had signed up for its Twitter competitor in what CEO Mark Zuckerberg framed as a "friendly" alternative to the little blue bird.
