GERMAN FOOD, BEER & TREATS we (sometimes) miss as GERMANS LIVING IN THE UK// Hello everyone! First of all, we are extremely sad about the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. It all happened when I (Kirsten) was travelling to film for YouTube and it took some days to sink it to be honest. We've had this video already prepared and hope a bit of a distraction is okay.

We always get so many questions about what kind of food, beer & treats we sometimes miss as Germans living in the UK. We thought it would be a great idea to film everything we had while visiting our family. Of course it seems like so much but this was filmed over a course of weeks so it would never be something we would have on a daily basis. We came to realise that so many German dishes contain a lot of meat and during the week and at home, we usually eat plant based so this was a huge exception for us. Living in the UK, this is probably one of the big German culture shocks!! So today we hope you enjoy our little German food tour taking you from German Bratwurst to a little German beer tour, Weisswurst, German potato salad and so much more. Enjoy!
