WOW! WE Just Upgraded Our 3D PRINTER! The P1P is SO FAST!

One of the things I've taken an active interest in over the course of the last year and a half to two years has been 3D printing. What started out as a single ANET ET4 3D printer to do occasional prints here and there has turned into a printer farm. One of the printers I have really wanted for quite some time has been a Bambu Labs P1P, and I am happy to say I finally pulled the trigger and now own one. That's right, I just upgraded our 3D Printer and print farm to a Bambu Labs P1P! Let's take a look at the initial print quality and speed of this amazing machine.

For starters, the P1P is considerably faster than the other printers I have in my printer farm. It is able to do so thanks to a number of different development advancements. It also features something called an AMS, or an Automatic Material System, which allows me to print multiple colors all at the same time. That is one of the biggest reasons I wanted one of these printers, as I manually change the filament from one color to the next while I am printing.

I ran a test print just using one of the default programs that the printer came with, a Benchy. This is a sort of calibration print that allows you to check and see how your prints do and can regularly flag faults within your system. On my previous fastest printer a benchy would print in about 45 to 50 minutes. This one printed in only 18 minutes. Oh, and the quality was vastly superior to what I had used up to this point.

I'm currently working on printing signs for the Video Game Summit convention in Chicago, along with the Southeast Game Exchange and Greenville, South Carolina. Beyond that, I am working to expand my offerings on my 3D printer site. I am hoping that not only does this allow me to print faster, but with better quality, at a lower price, and be able to ship things out on a more timely basis. This thing is just so fast, I am so glad I upgraded to the P1P at this point!

Let me know if you have ever had any interest in 3D printing. Do you own a 3D printer, and if so what do you have? Let me know in the comments!
