Making a color vase for my home with salt and chalk - Children's festival artisan

A day in Sao Joaninho. We made this video in a small Village in the countryside of Portugal. We went there for children's day and there were inflateables, music, face painting and many other fun activities organized by an animation agency. In this video I was making my own colorful sand to create my rainbow bottle.
I had never made colorful sand before and it was really exciting!
Do you want to know how to make it? It's very easy and fun!
All you need is some table salt, some colourful chalks, an empty, clean and dry seethrough glass bottle, and a sheet of paper.
Pour some salt (2-3 handfulls) on your sheet of paper; choose one of your favorite color chalk and start rubbing it sidewood on the salt, until all the salt changes his colour.
Then using the sheet of paper, pour your colourful salt in the glass bottle, like I've done in my video.
Next pour some more table salt on your paper and keep doing the same colouring process using different color chalks, until the whole bottle is full up.
And that's how you make your own colourful sand for your handmade creations.
