Here’s one of my rules, if someone’s getting paid to do it, they’re probably doing it on purpose and they’re probably skilled at it as well. Establishment Republican Politicians and strategists make a LOT of money losing slowly to the pervasive state machinery being constructed by the left. It’s no longer credible to assume they lose so often because they just can’t seem to figure out how this game works. They know the game, they know their role in the game, and they know if they don’t play that role they don’t get paid.

Ugh.
