Fourth of July celebrations of America's declaration of Independence from Britain were reasserted in the presence of both American Whatcom County residents as well Canadians that visit from past the Peace Arch from Vancouver and surrounding areas in British Columbia.

The parade was shorter in length despite a greater number of people drawn in comparison to other parades (by at least a thousand plus people) as this is a national american celebration.

Parade floats ranged from servicers around Blaine, Veterans groups including the American Legion, to various political candidates for County Council, Mayorship, County Executor, and Sheriffs, as well as restaurants/ranchers that joined with their own steeds mixed with the floats.

Afterword, there were singers from local bands both near the cars show and kids exhibit as well as another of greater dancing reception near the water scenic oyster restaurant near where the parade route started. The car show ended at 2 pm while the rest of the tents and stands ran until 5 pm.

This was recorded on July 4th, 2023 in downtown Blaine, WA.
