Fly fishing with a Doily?

I paint doilies and other “feminine” props in paintings where they don’t seem to “belong” to represent women in my life who did things they were told they shouldn’t. I wouldn’t be here today if my great grandmother had listened to everyone telling her not to marry a man twice her age. She was a strong, beautiful woman whose life still influences me. I’m who I am in part because of her and my grandmother. Fly Fishing is in appreciation for strong women being where they don’t “belong!”
