Nine injured in 4th of July shooting

At least nine people are injured after a shooting outside a Fourth of July celebration in Washington, D.C. The D.C. Police Department give updates on the shooting.

Assistant Chief Leslie Parsons, Metropolitan Police Department: "We were looking for a dark colored SUV. Investigation so far has revealed that this dark colored SUV drove through the 4700 block of Mead Street northeast. As it drove through the street, it stopped and it fired shots in the direction of some of our residents that were outside just celebrating the Fourth of July. It appears that the shooting was targeted towards those residents and victims that were struck."
