The golden clock tower is a beautiful landmark in Chiang Rai and was designed by Thai artist Chalermchai Khositpipat, who also built the White Temple in Chiang Rai and was unveiled in 2008 in honour of His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
