The word of God as a person

The Word of God is firstly a person, and that person is the Lord Jesus our Messiah. We discover this in the books of John and Revelation. In John 1:1-4 and 14 we read, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not anything made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men… and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.” Where else do we see the word of God as a person? In Revelation 14:13. In this text we see a revelation of Jesus the Christ, “and the name by which he is called is The Word of God.” Jesus is the word of God.
