Welcome to "The American Soldier Podcast”. A podcast to hear important stories told by Veterans and Military families. My hope and goal is that this podcast can help give a voice to our veterans and provide a path to healing, and help society better understand the sacrifices they and their families have given for us and our freedoms.

Today's story is with Chief Warrant Officer 5, Marine Gunner, Mike Musselman. AKA, Gunner. Gunner was Infantryman for 25 years of his 30 years with the Marine Corps. He has three combat deployments to Iraq and one to Afghanistan.

I’ve been honoring Veterans and Military families with my play The American Soldier. It’s a one-man show that I first performed about 10 years ago for roughly 8 people in a small poetry club in lower Manhattan. Since then, I've had the honor of sharing the play and its message with over 45 cities and 35 states and thousands of Veterans and Military families. And because of this journey, I have had the honor of becoming friends with so many Veterans and Military Families from every branch and generation who have trusted me to share their stories with you in the hope that it can help someone
