My main field of research is political theory and international relations, with a particular emphasis on how culture, values, and ideologies influence state behaviour. I have written and published about the interplay of culture and identity and how it affects social capital formation and social cohesion.

Besides my academic work I am always happy and honored to provide my expertise on contemporary US politics and world affairs for national and international broadcasters, including Sky News Australia and The Hill TV.
