How was your Independence Day? Ricky and I had a nice relaxing time today, even though we couldn't find today's newspaper, we still made the most of today, and one of our wonderful traditions as it were, is to hit a local Rita's water ice, and to get some water ice treats. It's something I highly recommend, if you have a Rita's near you, because man is it ever good! Bottom line it's a beautiful day today, that God gave us, and I praise Him for it.

I really needed this passage of Scripture today guys, because there are things that I’m going through right now that I'm having difficulty dealing with. I'm trying to figure out why my mom had to lose her home in a fire, why my brother suffered burns over 50% of his body, and is in the hospital right now, and most of all, why someone would want to steal my identity! I get frustrated, depressed, and discouraged because of all of these hardships, but then I am reminded by God that He's there for me, as well as for my mom, and that He WILL not only protect us, but will provide for us too.

I'd like to share some things that God showed me from his word this morning, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share with you will encourage you to see God's unchanging faithfulness and love too. So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with these questions from this morning’s devotional, and I pray that they will help you to see that if you know Christ is your savior, you serve an unchanging God too.

My prayer, for all of you tonight my friends, is that whatever the struggle, hardship, difficulty, or challenge that you are facing right now, that you turn to the One who is faithful and unchanging, and will not let you down. I pray that you remember the words of the beautiful hymn, “Great Is Thy Faithfulness”, when it says, “There is no shadow of turning with thee; / thou changest not, thy compassions, they fail not; / as thou hast been thou forever wilt be.”, and cling to the precious promises that God offers through it. Yes, we are going to have hardships, struggles, difficulty, you name it in our lives, but we as followers of Jesus, have the wonderful hope that God is there for us, and will provide. May we all choose to rest in God's unchanging and faithful love every day!
