RFK wants to bring the troops home bad ideea

This wont work. In an ideal world economy should be the strength not bullets but we dont live there.
If USA pulls back now many countries will be in war.
Plus this is about civilisations wars China or communism cant win. Also muslimism. Then there is Russia a tyranny.
USA troops could pull back from some areas in the world like Israel (they can defend themselves) Japan( they can also defend themselves) South Korea and focus more on hot spots.
Also if USA troops retreat USA will loose economic priviledges and lets see this generation of americans doing it all inside their borders.
A retreat of troops will only mean china will get closer.
Plus, military troops are not really border police troops to say we will send the military at the borders...because borders nowdays are not closed. Plus military at bordes is bad for business there is less trade when military guards the borders because they are not specialised border troops. Soldiers could be retrained but then the overall army strength is weakened. You could also say: we will train the military at home but that will also cost.
Military bases around the world contrary to what some think are not really why some of the world hates americans or american soldiers.
Usually military bases mean well for the local economy and troops on foreign grounds stationary is not really why the world doesnt like americans.
Its the actions in countless agressive wars that suck.
There is another factor, troops on foreign lands are more active because they face different challanges, things are not how they should be at home, soldiers learn from other soldiers good and bad.

Closing the USA bases in Europe like its shown on RFK and in Asia will mean a world of problems not only for the world but for USA as well. It would mean China could easly capture some islands including Taiwan. It will mean other non NATO countries will be atacked in Europe by Russia. It would even possibly mean a coordinated islamic states atack on Israel, N Korea over South Korea. It would certainly mean Cuba will again let Russia or China install nuclear missiles. Central America would join BRICS. China will expand towards Australia. It would be very bad. We can see China and economic power the only goal here is not to project normal power but to support military power and expansionist policies. Same for Russia. The same from any Muslim or communist state out there and there are a lot.
It would definitely mean Africa would be lost to China.
As it is now USA troops and military contribute to about 60% of NATO power. Without them in a forward posture bad shit will happenm
