Our Covenant

In 1607 our first settlers, who founded Jamestown, made a covenant with God when they landed on the shore at Cape Henry, VA (now Virginia Beach). This was 13 years before the Mayflower landed in Massachusetts - on which ship another covenant was made with God, called the "Mayflower Compact." Both documents stated that this land and its settlers were commissioned to spread the Gospel of the Kingdom of God to the native people and to all nations of the earth. America was destined to take the message of the Gospel to all parts of the world. 400 years after the Cape Henry landing, Pat Robertson was directed by God to found the Christian Broadcasting Network in Virginia Beach, VA - only miles from where Pastor Hunt, Pat Robertson's ancestor, planted the cross.
