Testing a Sterno Chafer Folding Stove For Emergency Cooking

Time to test out an ultra light aluminum Sterno brand folding stove that runs off one single cooking chafer. I tried it with methanol gel and diethylene glycol chafers that burn at different thermal outputs and different flame heights, which it turns out is important.
Overall I'd say with all things considered this is a terrible option for a bug out bag/emergency cooking outdoors but a pretty decent small scale cooking and water boiling option, safe for indoors. It's definitely easier and more realistic than electric cooking with few other options and best of all, these are CHEAP!
