This is a place where you can enjoy nature all around you since it's situated at a place where hills are surrounded by a lot of peace. It is located in a lush, natural setting near the #Nandi Hills and is destined to become an important center of inner transformation. It is India's second #Adiyogi Maha #Shiva #statue created by Isha Foundation after the Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. It is located 70 km from Bangalore. There are only a few public modes of transportation from Bangalore to Chikkaballapur. It is 45 kilometers from Bangalore Airport & due to its sacred vibes and breathtaking views, it has become a must-visit place in Karnataka near Bangalore.
Various Modes Of Reaching The Isha Foundation,

It is around 45 km from Kempegowda International Airport and 70 km from the main Bangalore city. So, if you are coming to visit the place from another state or city by air,

You have to reach Bangalore airport first, then take a cab to reach the destination directly. Otherwise, you can also opt for bus services to reach Chikkaballapur & then try auto or other vehicles to reach Isha Foundation Ashram premises, Chikkaballapur.

By Train- Start your journey from your state by train to the Bangalore City Junction and after reaching, you can plan your trip to reach the Isha Ashram by booking a train to Chikkaballapur railway station. From the railway station, your destination will be around 10 km away.

By Bus: Reach the Chikkaballapur Bus Station and then book an auto or taxi to reach Isha Yoga Center.

If you are from Bangalore or #Karnataka, then this place can be your perfect weekend getaway to get relaxed and spiritual vibes for inner peace.

By Bike Riding: It would be a fun ride to the hills of Chikkaballapur to reach Isha Yoga Ashram for witnessing the Adiyogi Shiva statue. It will take approximately 2 hours to reach the destination from Bangalore city, depending upon the traffic conditions and the starting location of the rider. Google Maps will help you manage your trip smoothly.

Driving Private Vehicle: This is also a nice option to reach Isha Foundation, Chikkaballapur by driving your vehicle from Bangalore City.

Adiyogi light show happens daily at 7pm in Coimbatore and Chikkaballapur center. In Chikkaballapur center, there could be a traffic congestion especially on weekends that won't let you enter if you arrive too close to the timing slot. I am not sure if this happens in Coimbatore. But on the safe side, best if you plan to reach earlier by 5.30 pm latest even on weekdays. Click a few pictures with the setting sun and then find the best spot and relax for the light show to start!
Also note, that the actual timing of the divya darshanam may vary a little depending on events and other factors. For example, during Amavasya or Poornima there could be some other events which could delay this light show. Or when I was in Chikkaballapur center, there was the Saptarshi Aarti conducted by Kashi Pujaris. That time, Sadhguru and other dignitaries' discourses went on till 8pm or so. And the final light show happened much later. Once when a Sadhguru Satsang happened in #Chikkaballapur center, a second light show was organized at 10pm at night. That was pretty cool. I think the time variations are more in the Chikkaballapur center since it is upcoming and prone to some disruptive changes.

The exact light show duration is 14 minutes. However, the security and volunteers will start ushering the people in a seating area. And some chanting and music will play from 7pm. The actual light show starts at 7.20pm. And, after the Divya Darshanam there is a Yogeshwar Linga aarti, which could take anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes. So, if you consider the time slot from 7 to 8 pm, it is better. (Next answer tells you about the traffic considerations to keep in mind if you are coming via a vehicle).

Traffic Considerations To Reach Well In Time To Watch This Laser Show!

Moreover, you need to consider the traffic situation IF you plan to reach just on time for the light show. Because of traffic congestion when a LOT of vehicles get there at the same time, you may be stuck for 30-40 minutes easily before being able to enter, park and then walk to the venue. So, don't plan to reach JUST on time if you are taking a vehicle. If you are on foot or cycle, then maybe it is manageable to time it close. If you going in a vehicle I would suggest reaching there minimum by 5.30 pm. And even earlier on weekends.
It's completely free. No booking needed. Just be there on time as written earlier for the best viewing experience!
