Purdue Basketball 2023/24 Expectations as big as Zach Edey

Purdue had one of the greatest regular seasons ever led by the consensus national player of the year Zach Edey. After such a disappointing end to the year what does next year look like for Purdue?

I believe I forgot Braden Smith 6'0 guard returning for his sophomore seasons. He started all 35 games his freshmen year averaging 9.7 points, 4.4 assists and 4.2 rebounds. For all time freshmen at Purdue he finished the year ranked 11th in points, 4th in free throws made and first in free throw percentage at 86%.

Add in that he was first in assists for freshmen and second in assist to turnover ratio for all time freshmen. For a guy that wasn't highly recruited he played amazing his freshmen year at Purdue. If he can repeat that performance and even improve Purdue should be in good shape.
