God’s Provision for ALL creation

Not only does God provide for us all by continually upholding all creation (Hebrews 1:3 & Colossians 1:17), but the Sermon on the Mount reveals that God provides food for the birds, clothing for the grass, and daily bread for his people (Matthew 6:26 & 30). Reading further we discover something even more amazing; God even provides for rebels. As if God’s grace, compassion, and faithfulness in merely holding all things together wasn’t enough, the Father causes the sun to rise on the evil and on the good, sending rain on the just and on the unjust (Matthew 5:45) - for now at least. This is truly remarkable. God extends provision to rebels. Who has rebelled? We have all rebelled (Romans 3:10-18) and are made holy by the blood of Jesus the Messiah. Sadly there are many who continue to live as rebels in unbelief. But for those who repent and believe in the only true God and Saviour Jesus Christ there is an abundance of heavenly provision, the highest of which is the provision of the Spirit (Titus 3:5-6). https://open.substack.com/pub/biblepodcast/p/matthew-545-626-and-30-gods-provision/
