Flying car certified by FAA will sell for $300,000

A California startup, Alef Automotive, has received certification from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to conduct testing on a vehicle they describe as a flying car.

This achievement marks the first time that a fully electric vehicle capable of both flying and traveling on roads has obtained approval from the US government, CNN reports.

The vehicle, named the “Model A,” is touted by Alef Automotive as a groundbreaking innovation. It possesses the ability to operate on public roads like a conventional car, complete with parking capabilities, while also featuring vertical takeoff and landing functionality for flight.
