Fruits are high in antioxidants which is good because they can help clean up free radicals throughout the body. This decreases your risk of genetic mutations that can occur and inhibit the proper functionality of the lungs. Many fruits are loaded with vitamin C which, of course, has been shown to boost the immune system and prevent certain lung infections from occurring.
