July 16, 1963 - Davy Jones performed on Merv Griffin's "Talent Scouts" tonight. The 17-year-old British lad made his T.V. acting debut in 1961 on the British soap opera, "Coronation Street." He has since played the Artful Dodger in the musical "Oliver!" in the West End of London.
