Spawn of Khorne - Unit Focus

Total War Warhammer III Immortal Empires, Chaos Dwarf DLC Patch 3.1! Spawn of Khorne came to me with a bad reputation, but I've found them surprisingly powerful against any opponent not overwhelmingly armored. Minotaurs are better, but more expensive and you can get Spawn sooner. Do they have any place in your army?
