Aputure VS-2 FineHD Monitor: See When You Shoot!

The tiny 3 inch screens on most cameras vary in quality but the fact remains that it is hard to compose, focus and expose your video in such a small space. For the last year, I’ve been using a 7 inch HDMI monitor which has helped me work more quickly and shoot with more confidence and fewer missed shots. Now, Aputure just released an update to their VS-2 monitor: The VS-2 FineHD. This 7 inch monitor has a resolution of 1920x1200 so it can display not only a full HD feed from your camera’s HDMI port, but also still has room left to show some assistive information. At a price of $299 USD, this is a great little monitor to add to your kit.

Color settings for the VS-2 FineHD to match my Sony a6000 (at least on the unit I have): R: 128 G: 125 B: 124
