RFK, Bill Maher, and Balls

Recently, Bill Maher had Democratic Presidential contender, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. on his show. Maher is not stranger to making controversial statements that upset both sides of the political spectrum, but this past show was a bit beyond what he has said in the past.

Maher said, "Whether you’re right or wrong, I think you’re mostly right about this issue, especially the vaccine issue. The guts and the integrity to take that stand and stick by your guns when media, you lose The New York Times, family, that to me, is a pair of balls.”

I've been doing this...since Christmas Eve 2006," Aaron said. "Now, Bill Maher is saying that takes integrity, it takes balls. I just want to stop and commend every person who for the past several years has been demonitized, deplatformed, depersoned, treated like crap by your families at Thanksgiving's and Christmas's, and treated like crap on social media because you had integrity, and you had the gumption to stand up for your rights and stand up against something that we knew was hurting people. Congratulations to you for your Bill Maher spoken balls. That's all I have to say."

There have been several notable instances of individuals and organizations being deplatformed on social media platforms. Here are a few examples:

Alex Jones: The founder of InfoWars was banned from multiple platforms, including Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and Apple Podcasts, due to violations of their hateful, free speech hating policies.

Milo Yiannopoulos: A political commentator and former editor at Breitbart News, Milo Yiannopoulos was deplatformed from Twitter in 2016 after some of his follwers sent harrassing Tweets to actress Leslie Jones.

Donald Trump: Following the Capitol riot in January 2021, then-President Donald Trump was banned from major social media platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, due to false claims that his tweets caused incitement of violence. He was also accused of spreading false information when he Tweeted facts about the 2020 election being stolen.

These are just a few prominent examples, but deplatforming has occurred as a way to silence the voice of dissent, disagreement, and to prevent truth from going to the masses.

Be sure to share on all the socials.
