Chasing Storm Light

Chasing light seems to be a full-time job when you're out as a photographer! Sometimes, when you don't know if you're going to be able to get out and shoot, it's good to just sit back and wait for the storm clouds to clear leaving fantastic light across the landscape.

I took a trip to the lake district only to find it raining as usual, but my patience paid off and I was treating to a fantastic display of light.

I do my best to try and capture the light as it travels across the landscape, bathing the whole countryside in truly dynamic light.

It was the first time I've spent the night in my car in the middle of nowhere, which was rather a big step for me! I'm going to do it again and hopefully be a little more prepared for it too! Maybe I'll make a video about it!!

In this video I also take a trip to Wales and scout out a few areas to photograph when it's not raining!
