I Peter Lesson-05: Living Differently - Part I

Today we are in Lesson-05 in the series “Living Hope” from the book of I Peter.

This study is part I of our series: “Strangers and Pilgrims” which covers I and II Peter.
 
The lesson is titled “Living Differently – Part I” and our focus passage is I Peter 3:1-7.
 
Please find your way in your Bible to that passage.

In our previous episode, we concluded our study of I Peter 2. In this chapter, Peters calls believers to act as living stones that proclaim God’s excellence.
 
As believers, we should always remember that as God’s chosen people our lives should bring praise, honor, and glory to Him.

In today’s lesson we begin our study of I Peter 3. Peter will continue to exhort his audience to live in a different way that unbelievers live.

We have to stand out for God. Peter is going to address how this living differently should manifest itself in what kind of marriages we have, how we treat each other as members of God’s family, and how we deal with a hostile world.

Today we will focus on our first division, “Godly Marriages”, v1-7.
