Dr Kevin Corbett

‘The negative role of biotechnology and evidence based ideology in current medical practice’
Kevin P Corbett PhD qualified as a registered nurse in 1986 and worked on the UK’s first HIV/AIDS ward at The Middlesex Hospital, London. Kevin undertook masters research on optimal inhalation at King’s College London (1989) and doctoral research at London South Bank University (2001) on the lay experiences of HIV testing (PCR). Kevin has worked as a nurse practitioner in hospitals, primary care, community health and custodial services in acute medicine, forensics and sexual health. Kevin was a member of senior faculty at St George's Hospital Medical School/Kingston University London; the department of health sciences, University of York and the Hull-York Medical School; faculty of health at Liverpool John Moores University; and in the schools of nursing at Canterbury Christchurch and Middlesex Universities.
