Big Surprise While Panfishing

I took a trip to a neighborhood pond known for Panfish, expecting to catch crappie, bluegills, and other sunfish, maybe a very small bass. I've always thought there were some larger Bass hiding in there somewhere, but never managed to find them. So I only brought my light setup- a medium light spinning rod with 6lb mono, armed with a micro tube jig, and the drag set on the loose side like normal when I expect panfish.
