DAY SEVEN: Slaves of Righteousness(Romans 6:18)- See My Write Up for Evening- Ukraine/Psalm/Prayer

Good morning. Great is His faithfulness.

"SLAVES OF RIGHTEOUSNESS"

Romans 6:18

 And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness.

"Righteous living is not option for a Christian. Nor is it something we must try to do over time. It is an obligation, mandatory for every child of God. Our freedom in Christ is not freedom to do what we want. It is freedom to live righteously, something we could not do when we were in bondage to sin. Now that we are free to live righteously, we must allow the Holy Spirit to produce in us a holy, sanctified life (1 John 3:7).

Romans 6:16

 Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leadingto righteousness?

We chose our master freely, because we are always a slave to someone or something. It's through "OBEDIENCE" to God that leads us to "RIGHTEOUSNESS"- making us heirs of salvation rather than "SLAVES" of sin.

Numbers 6:24-26

“The Lord bless you and keep you;

25 The Lord make His face shine upon you,

And be gracious to you;

26 The Lord [a]lift up His countenance upon you,

And give you peace.” ’
