Almost Lost My Drone - June 30, 2023

My first customer ever that I did a roof check for with my drone. The whole day was a mess. He never showed up at 11am. I headed back home, only 2 blocks away in our community, and while driving the phone rang. It was the community manager, She said the the customer left the $15 cash at the office and said I can do the video any time and just send it to his email. So I went back to that house and flew my drone. After doing a firmware update I noticed the drone was not steady and wasn't cooperating. I lost it for a few minutes. Looked every where on the ground. It ended up landing on the roof of the house across the street. I called Brett the local handyman and explained what was going on and he came to the rescue. I gave him the $15.
