I used to see the Jesus Army whilst I lived on the streets of London as a runaway kid and they used to try to get me to go up to Northampton with them but fortunately I'd been warned by other homeless people in the West End not to go with them because people were getting exploited and stuck up their. 'They'll brainwash ya' was sort of a commonly said thing back in the day.
